Can you give us details about what you do, what you specialise in and why people choose to use you?
We are a local family business, starting in 1912 by Walter Morris (current owners grandad) as a butchers, we have now evolved to a bakery employing over 150 staff.
We bake morning goods, bread and cakes. We deliver to educational facilities schools, colleges, universities, catering outlets, NHS, retail outlets and farm shops from all over the northwest to Cumbria and west Yorkshire.

- and we get involved with community projects
We offer good quality products; that’s value for money with good service.
Why did you first decide you wanted to create your own branded gifts?
We created branded goods to gift to staff and customers as a thank you for either there service or custom. We feel gifting branding products helps to keep you at the forefront of customers minds.
What is your objective when using branded gifts?
They need to be good quality, useful gifts.
How successful have the gifts been for you, and do they fulfil your objectives?
They have been well received and appreciated. We have seen them being used!
Have you any particular success stories or anecdotes relating to your business gifts?
We did put them in some hampers we donated for a 6-month period for a competition Red Rose Radio ran.
Our rucksacks have been seen at an airport and a picture of one of our cups was sent to us, having climbed a mountain!
Have you used different types of products for specific campaigns or target audiences?
Yes, we have had pens, ruck sacks, hessian shopping bags, freezer shopping bags, Cups, flasks. Our main object has been usefulness.

We haven’t thought of using photo gifts, maybe that’s something to think about.
