Leyland promotional products company, BusinessGiftUK.com, are proud to announce that we have donated t-shirts to Ribchester Rovers for their up and coming charity match to raise funds for Rio Spurr. Rio is the son of Tommy Spurr, former professional footballer who played as a defender for Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers, Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End.
Tommy and his wife Chloe are former Ribchester residents and the Club are keen to be involved with their #AllforRio fundraising campaign when they found out their little boy, Rio, had been diagnosed with a rare cancer.
This event is taking place on Sunday 11th September at Ribchester REC. The Football club will be playing against an impressive line up of former Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers stars in this charity match which kicks off at 12:30 pm. This event will be free to enter. There will be plenty going on for all the family including a kids zone, food & a well stocked bar.
T-shirts provided by the team at BusinessGiftUK will be worn by the volunteers and fundraisers. These bright red shirts will include a scannable QR code, that will be visible on the front, enabling donations to be easily made throughout the day. The shirts have also been printed with the campaign hashtag #AllforRio, so that people can use this before, during and after the event to help spread the word of Rio’s story on social media.
