The debut Make Your Mark – The Marketing Network meeting on 14th March was a resounding success! With a fantastic turnout, an engaging lineup of speakers, and a welcoming atmosphere, it was a brilliant way to bring together professionals from across the Lancashire business community.
A Warm Welcome and a Flowing Buffet
From the moment attendees arrived, there was a buzz in the air. The buffet was a hit, offering a delicious selection of food that was much appreciated by all. To keep the conversations flowing, the free tea and coffee ensured that everyone stayed refreshed throughout the event.
Inspiring Speeches from Industry Leaders
One of the standout elements of the evening was the series of engaging and informative speeches delivered by key industry figures. Red Rose Radio helped set the tone for the event, welcoming everyone and highlighting the importance of networking and collaboration. Our very own Steve Ward took to the stage, sharing insights into our work and the vision behind Make Your Mark – The Marketing Network.
The lineup of guest speakers included Lisa Edge from GB Shared, who provided valuable information about connecting businesses across the region. Matt Chandler from Chandler Digital delivered an insightful talk on the evolving digital landscape, while Lee Giacopazzi from Lucky 6 Marketing shared expert marketing strategies to help businesses thrive. Finally, Kathryn Burns from Shout rounded off the speeches with an engaging discussion about branding and business growth. Each speaker brought something unique to the table, offering attendees valuable takeaways to implement in their own businesses – and each offering a free gift for the prize draw!
Exciting Prizes and Lucky Winners
What’s a great networking event without a few surprises? Attendees had the chance to win some fantastic prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. We were delighted to see our very own Kim (who is still part of our team on a freelance basis) walk away with the GB Shared prize, which included a year’s membership and a free advert in their digital magazine! Another lucky winner, Nicola Entwistle of J Dickinson & Son, took home our storm umbrella giveaway, ensuring she stays dry no matter the Lancashire weather.
Strengthening the Lancashire Business Community
Beyond the great food, engaging speeches, and exciting prizes, what truly made the event special was the sense of community. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the work of our partners, discover new ways to collaborate, and explore how we can all support one another in growing and strengthening the Lancashire business network. It was clear that everyone left with fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and a sense of motivation to continue building upon these relationships!
Looking Ahead to the Next Event
With such a successful launch, we are already looking forward to the next Make Your Mark – The Marketing Network meeting! This debut event set a strong foundation, and we are excited to see how the network grows, evolves, and continues to support local businesses in the coming months.
