Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team, having previously worked as a paralegal. She has considerable experience attending networking events and building business relationships, and also enjoys a successful career as a professional singer. Her addition to the team promises to bring a touch of pizzazz to the company!

As Apprentice Marketing Manager, Kim will lead the company’s networking, social media and marketing strategy by:
- developing brand awareness
- expanding the company’s client base; and
- increasing its marketing pursuits.
The role is a perfect fit for Kim considering she has been a prolific networker since 2010 and is naturally creative, too.
How Kim came to join businessgiftuk.com/
Kim published a post on LinkedIn offering to assist businesses at exhibitions. She has attended exhibitions over the summer, and identified some businesses were falling short on enthusiasm and engagement on their stands. They were struggling to attract people over.
As luck would have it, we at businessgiftuk.com/ were looking for someone to assist at exhibitions so we arranged to have a chat with Kim. The conversation progressed to a discussion about degree apprenticeships in Digital Marketing: we were looking for an apprentice and Kim was looking for a placement.
The pursuit of happiness
In today’s ever-evolving job market, it’s fairly common for people to experience “career fatigue” or to simply want to change career paths to vocations that better match their passions and interests. Ultimately, Kim discovered that her true passion lies in marketing. Her personal attributes of creativity, communication and strategic thinking are essential qualities in marketing. She is returning to university at the age of 41, demonstrating it’s never too late to change your career in pursuit of happiness and fulfilment!
